I've begun printing out the first pieces of this awesome pep (my first pep, actually) and cutting stuff out. Hey I'm new here and I'm something of a lurker of old/semi old forum posts. I'm tempted to make the parts i'm missing This is very cool! If I didn't already have armour I'd be busy cutting paper right now. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to help. On the right shin and right shoulder the model in the 3D view looks the same as the left counterparts but the unfolds are for the right side, if you look closely you will see that they are different. the back is finished Pep/foam now its on to test coating and painting.

Re: Pepakura files found! Photos of Foam/Paper armor That's what I've done with the ODST armour files I'm making for myself anyway.

I figured I could use the scaling controls in the Pep software to change the size to suit my son after I measure him up. you can also use Pep Designer to find the parts that you need. Sorry folks, one thing that I should have mentioned sooner, cut out the parts as you go. But still actually a lot of fun.įor sizing I just took my body measurements, loaded up a IN to MM converting calculator and input those numbers, not sure if thats a proper way to scale up, but it worked for the leg so far, it seems big enough. I got to the point today where I began gluing. Im not totally sure though if its gonna be small, time and effort will tell. As soon as I started I thought about making some sets for my daughters. Oh friendlyskies fyi this looks like it may be a bit small anyway but Im building anyway as I want to see how the foam turns out anyway. This is alot of fun, thank you so much Nobody. Your welcome, the rest of the files should be out in the next couple of days. I've been thinking about making a set of armour for my son and these will help out tremendously.Īm eagerly waiting to see how this all comes out Looking good! I've always wanted to try making armour from craft foam so I'll be interested to see how this turns out. Make sure the album isn't set to private. Looks like you do need to have a facebook account to view them Nemesis. See if this link works, Im not sure if you need to be on Facebook or not, please let me know and Ill post them somewhere else. At worse Im out about $10 for trying this. Ive used white glue and tissue paper on some other foam projects and I did some experiments with the stucco cloth before deciding to try this. The outside will be covered in either tissue paper or stucco repair cloth that I have and white glue, finishing touches with bondo or spot glazing. I plan on using hot glue and maybe cardboard strips to reinforce the inside. Then just like regular pep I cut out the patterns and we will see if it goes together ok. I then used spray adhesive to attach the paper to hobby foam. I have used Nobody's pep files and printed them out on regular paper. Ok I am trying a new method that excludes resin n fiberglass.

I've basically just been popping in a movie doing some cutting and doing the pen lines for the mountain and valley folds, its actually quite relaxing. I've still got a few pages worth of cutting before I try assembling anything.

Nice work Nobody! UUUhhhhg I can not buy the password because I am out of country. Here is the new detailed back, already unfolded Some times the cut line and the fold line are right next to each other and I would leave those alone too. The reason that it looks like that is because the cut line is so close to the fold line that they look like the same line. If its a straight line with numbers on both sides I would just leave it alone. Re: Pepakura files request (Pepakura files found!!!) Pepakura files found!
